Management Board
Tasks and responsibilities
The Management Board is entrusted with the management of the company. This means, among other things, that the Management Board is responsible for the results, the vision, the mission and the strategy of Nuon. It is accountable for these matters to the Supervisory Board and the General Meeting of Shareholders. The members of the Management Board are jointly responsible for the management of the company.
In addition, the Management Board is responsible for the compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, the management of risks attendant to the business activities and the financing of Nuon. The Management Board reports on these issues to, and discusses the internal risk management and control systems with, the Supervisory Board and its Audit Committee.
In discharging its role, the Management Board is guided by the interests of the company and its affiliated enterprises, while giving careful consideration to the interests of all stakeholders.
